Who thinks what over Xsjado skates and USD (classic throne models) skates? I'm interested in finding out who likes which one better and more importantly why.

I'd go with USD's, but it'd be a tough decision. Maybe it's just because I'm old school... The Xsjado's are great skates and more convenient in a way -- just being able to slide them on over my shoes is a huge thing IMHO. You look silly skating while holding shoes and it's a pain to always have to carry a bag for them. ugh.. now I'm not sure! This is a great poll question!

I'd have to go with Xsjados, for an older skater like me nothing is better than a pair of truly comfortable skates!
Although I'm not too crazy about their looks, xsjados are the most feet friendly skates i have ever worn!

I'm a big fan of Xsjados as well. I mean really you're comparing two very different kinds of skates here so you can't really make a decision without skating or at least trying on each skate.

I've definitely decided on the Xsjado's! They took a bit of getting used to, but ultimately they are a much more comfortable, supportive and innovative skate.

Just curious. Did you check out Remz, Deshi's or Valos as well when you were shopping? What made you narrow it down to just USD vs. Xsjados. As Al mentions, these are very different skates.

I've skated Valo's before and really liked them, but (as weird as it sounds) the nuts and bolts that connect the soul pads to the boot broke so easily and replacing them inside the boot was just way too much a pain in the ass! I've wanted to try Xsjado's for a long while, and the first time I did I had a difficult time adjusting to them, and thought I didn't like them at all. Then I got a sweet deal to get the red Rachard's from USD, so I did. Now I have both sets of skates. When I started this poll I was wanting to sell off one of the pairs, so I was curious. Since then, I have really grown to love the Xsjado's. I've listed the USD's on ebay a few times for $150, but they have yet to sell.

$150 might be a bit steep for ebay - at least as a starting bid... You might want to try Craigslist, posting the links all over the place or be willing to take a little less money. A Play It Again Sports store would probably buy them from you too, but I would doubt they'd pay much at all.
