hey jeff,
well the thing is, i don't need an adequate term to describe the sport. for me it is more important to some kind of valuable definition of the properties that the sport define. there is a definition on wikepedia but in order to have a scientific introduction to my topic i will need some more sources to elaborate this sport to non-skater (such as my professor).

thanks for the input though! the link you posted seems to be quiet interesting, i have some more recent market data and can use those to show the development of the market.
Is it for you if I use some citations from your article? Of course I will name you as the source for it!
