Skating in Guam

Well made it back from Iraq and enjoying skating in Guam, a new concrete park in Dededo. I ordered the new Rollerblade Point 8 skates and very happy, the 72mm wheel reminds of when we used to skate fat boys back in the day and the speed and new material is great. The screw on cuff continues to loosen up I am surprised Rollerblade did not learn from the early prototype Daytona's and loose the screw idea, but with change in ownership maybe it got overlooked. Happy to be back on skates I pushed the limits in the beginning in 1993 and I am going to push them again. We are not dead yet, in fact the best skating is done outside of the spotlight. One thing to remember is to not lock the sport into one avenue, rollerblading just like in the beginning encompasses many outlets and we need to embrace them all to keep the momentum going and bring back the funding we need. I remember doing stunt shows at roller hockey tournaments and speed skating races it brought everybody together and created a huge energy. Alright I am done rambling, if you are in Guam I will see you in Dededo.
