I'm 29 now, Hoax 2 generation....It was cool to skate when I was a kid but now people look at me like I'm some old lady that should be driving a mini van full of kids to the skate park instead of actually skating there myself. Plus being "old school" and doing souls and royales doesn't bode well for me skating in the age of 540 kind grind and jumping through a second story hole. I think if you're old or "old school" then you should just find someone on your level to skate with. Don't skate with someone who's on the fast rise to rollerblade fame b/c lets face it...you can't keep up and will be left in the dust with no one to skate with all over again. If you like to roll around and do Mizus then find someone else that like to roll around and do Mizus. 
ps...anyone who wants to do soul grinds with a 29 year old , k2 fatty wearing woman...hit me up! I promise I don't drive a mini van.
