Hello and welcome to Rollerhome's forums. We've spent a lot of time thinking about how the perfect forums should look and feel and think we've come pretty close to our goal. Of course, we made this site for you and are anxious to hear what you think. Please use the "Feature Requests, Bug Reporting" forum to post your feedback. We do read them and consider every suggestion, crazy or not.
Here's a quick overview of the features of the forums:
1. Most of the normal tags work, so put as much bold, italic text as you'd like. Most important is posting links and images works fine, standard html tags.
2. Each post can be linked to directly by right clicking on the title of the post. This is real handy if there's a long thread and you just want to share a single post.
3. You can subscribe to the thread, as well as most content here, with any RSS reader. If you're not familiar with RSS, the Google Reader page has a great video explaining the concept. I also highly recommend the Google Reader as an RSS reader, it's what I use personally.
4. Your avatar is pulled from your profile. You can update that picture real easy on your profile page, which you can access by clicking on Profiles up top or visiting http://rollerhome.com/profiles when you're logged in. Remember, you must be logged in to reply to a post or create a new thread.
So here's a few rules we hope you can follow:
1. Please keep the content somewhat non-offensive. We're not trying to tell you that you can't post porn, or use profanity or anything, but remember there's skaters of all ages here.
2. Blatant advertising or spamming will not be tolerated. If you have something you want to advertise, selling your skates or a new product or something, no problem. Let's just keep it skating related, and within reason.
That's it, nothing crazy I hope. Most importantly, have fun out there. Let us know what you think and what we can do to improve.
