Very nice guys, love seeing good content.

Hate to be a bitch, but where's the HD? The file I grabbed was 640x360. Looked good, but wasn't HD.

thanks! i'm hoping to do more as well, i love dorking out about skates. this thing was sevenn minutes long and i was restricting myself from getting REALLY in-depth, haha.

it was filmed in HD.... i think we could do about three downloads in real HD before our bandwidth was used up, haha.

Al, heh.. Yah, I gotta say, at least you used good compression... It's the question of HD resolution compressed all crazy or decent compression on a smaller resolution file. If bandwidth is as big of a concern as you say, you made the right call in my book. I just think you're exaggerating a bit, but I do understand the concern...

Not sure what the size is like per minute at 1080x1920 coming off of Alex's camera as it records to tape using HDV, but i know some of the cams out there put out footage that's close to a gig a minute. Obviously that's way out of the picture for internet distribution, especially for a nine-minute edit! Alex and i agreed that we'd rather use less compression on a smaller resolution than more on a bigger resolution so that's probably how we'll do the next one as well. I guess we'll have to be more careful semantically for you guys.

Lol, I love being the bitch.

From my perspective, HD starts at 1280 x 720. If you release something like that, compressed with h.264, it should come out nice and clean, small enough to stream properly on my appleTV.

Then again, not sure I could handle Al at HD. Hell, I can't even look in the mirror.

Speaking of codecs, how's that iPhone compatible feed coming Tim?
