I was curious about what he meant by saying they've been skating that shell for years, but I suppose since they actually own everything they're doing they've just tweaked a similar boot from the old razors and this isn't like a re-branded Razors product.

Any idea why they had committed to the idea of having an over boot like Valo and Rollerblade early on in their development process?

Cost I think - but the boot could not be skated 'skinless' as there are lot of tweeks. I have not seen one in person yet but the cut out toe area, and cuff section make it different. They are already working on the next skate and I guess we can only see it progress!

I'd wager it's an old Razors boot. I'm really impressed with Jon and everything he and Brian have been able to do. Really a great success story.
